What we collect, and the control you keep.

The short version. We collect the few things we need to send you what you asked for and to stay in touch if you want us to. We do not sell your information. You can leave any time and ask us to delete what we hold.

What we collect

When you take an assessment or fill out a form, we collect your email address, your name if you give it, and the answers and scores from the assessment. We may also collect basic, non-identifying technical information your browser sends, such as the pages you visit, to keep the site working.

Why we collect it

To compute and send your assessment report and keep it available at your private result link. To send you email you have opted into, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. To understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them. That is the whole list.

Who processes it

We use a small number of trusted services to run this site. Assessment data is stored with Supabase. Contact details and email are managed in GoHighLevel, our customer relationship and email platform. The site is hosted on Vercel. Each acts as a processor on our behalf and is bound to handle your data accordingly. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any message we send. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the request form below or write to privacy@stoprentingyourbusiness.com. We verify identity before disclosing, correcting, or deleting data. A verified deletion removes assessment rows from Supabase and the matching contact from GoHighLevel, subject to any record we must retain by law.

How long we keep it

Assessment answers and reports remain in the active system for 24 months after submission. They are then moved to restricted archival storage that is unavailable to the normal site and public data API. A verified deletion request removes matching assessment records from both active and archived storage, subject to records we must retain by law. The final destruction period for archived records will follow the retention schedule approved by counsel. Privacy-request records are retained for three years so we can show what was requested and completed. GHL contact records are kept while you are subscribed or an active customer, and are reviewed after 24 months of inactivity.

Cookies

We use essential browser storage and privacy-conscious Vercel Analytics to understand page visits and conversion events. We do not use advertising cookies or sell analytics data.

Children

This site is meant for adults running businesses and organizations. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be made clear.
